Every Saturday and Sunday starting October 4th through December 28,2008, enjoy free live music by local bands just at the water's edge, just north of Marshall Way Bridge. It is a variety of musice from jazz to country so bring the family, a blanket and enjoy the sights and sounds as you relax by the Waterfront.

ARTWALK BLOCK PARTY
Every Thursday before the Artwalk, from 4pm-7pm enjoy the party atmosphere at the city block adjacent to the Artwalk. There's easy access the public parking, shops and happy hours along Fifth Ave(north), Craftsman Court(east), Third Ave(south) and Marshall Way(west). Take advantage off all the pre-Artwalk discounts. When you're done shopping, head on over to the Artwalk every Thursday year-round from 7pm-9pm.

North Dakota Operations Lifesaver is seeking passionate volunteers to help spread their message about railroad safety. ND Operation Lifesaver is a non-profit public information and safety education program dedicated to eliminating collisions, deaths and injuries at highway-rail grade crossings and on railroad rights-of-way.

The Minot YWCA is accepting applications for Pilates Class and Yoga Class. Pilates Class is $25.00 per month plus an annual YWCA membership of $25.00. Yoga classes are $15 per month plus the annual $25 fee. People may start these classes anytime. All classes are held at 1020 N Broadway.

Rehab Services Inc if seeking volunteers for its newest program called Recoveree Connection. The volunteers provide telephone support for North Dakotans in drug and alcohol recovery. A support group for people with Parkinson's disease, their families, friends, and care givers meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 2 p.m. in the community room at Brentmore, 3513 10th St SW. Use the north parking lot and door. A support group for the care givers meets the third Thursday of every month at 2 p.m. in the North Central Human Service Center, Minot.
